WBPCB Admit Card for AEE and other posts released, exam from Jan 24

NEW DELHI: West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal has released the admit card for examinations to various department posts.

Candidates, who have applied for the Computer Based Test (CBT), can download their WBPCB AEE Admit Card theough the official website – www.wbpcb.gov.in/notices. The admit card can be downloaded through candidate login using application number and date of birth.

The e-Admit card has been made available on WBPCB website www.wbpcb.gov/notices in for downloading by candidates. No e-Admit card will be sent by post.

Candidates should note that the name in the e-Admit card in some cases, may be abbreviated due to technical reasons.

WBPCB Online Exam will be conducted on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29 ,30 and 31, 2021.

Merit list of interview for selected candidates will be released on February 7, 2021. Interview will be conducted from February 15 to 19, 2021.

The examination will be held in the following cities: Kolkata, Siliguri, Durgapur, Kharagpur,Malda, Baharampur, Burdwan, Bankura, Asansol and some others (if required).

Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail ID/mobile number alive for receiving advices viz. e-Admit card /Interview letters, etc. Candidates may check e-mails/SMS regularly. WBPCB does not send any communication through any other mode.

Examination Scheme

Part – I: Online (CBT) examination will be held for 90 marks (there will be 90 questions 1 mark each, duration 90 minutes.

There will be a negative marking @ 25% for each wrong answer.

Part – II: Interview/ Personality Test/ viva-voce Test will be held for 10 marks.

Syllabus, marks and duration of examination

For Assistant Environmental Engineer:-

Online (CBT) examination will carry 90 marks having 90 questions of 1 (one) mark each, comprising of multiple choice, objective type question on the following:-

i) English 20 marks

ii) General Studies & Current Affairs 20 marks

iii) Engineering 40 marks

iv) Computer app 10 marks

The duration of examination shall be 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The WBPCB had issued a notice for the recuritment for the posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE), Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE), Junior Environmental Assistant (JEA), Environmental Analyst, Senior Accounts Clerk, Accounts Clerk and Laboratory Assistant.

Candidates in their own interest are requested to keep on visiting the website www.wbpcb.gov.in/notices for further updates.

Kerala PSC preliminary exam dates announced; to be held from Feb 20

NEW DELHI: The Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) has scheduled to conduct the preliminary examination, where class 10 is the basic qualification, on February 20, 25, March 6, and 13. The exam will be held in four phases, commencing on February 20.

Earlier, the preliminary exam was scheduled to be held in December but has been postponed due to the Covid 19 pandemic. However, the commission will hold the preliminary examination in February and March 2021.

Candidates can obtain the admit cards for the prelims from February 10 from the candidates’ profile. The admit card will include the details such as exam date, time, exam centre, etc. The commission had released the syllabus of the exam earlier.

SBI PO result 2020 for Prelims declared, check here

NEW DELHI: The most awaited SBI PO result has been declared by the State Bank of India on Monday i.e., January 18. The SBI PO prelims result 2020 is now available on the official website of SBI Careers — bank.sbi.

Candidates who appeared for the prelims can obtain the SBI PO result either from the official website or from the link given below. Candidates need to login with their roll number and date of birth to obtain the results.

State Bank of India conducted the recruitment examination for Probationary Officers on January 4, 5, and 6.

Candidates who qualified in the SBI PO preliminary examination are required to appear for the main exam. The admit card for the SBI PO mains will be released on the official portal soon. The information available in this regard reads ” Link for Downloading call letter for main examination shall be made available shortly”

Regarding the merit list, the recruitment notification reads “Category wise merit list will be drawn on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination. There will be no sectional cut-off. Candidates numbering 10 times (approx) the numbers of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for Main Examination from the top of the above merit list.”

tn school reopen: With TN classes X, XII set to start from tomorrow, health dept insists on screening students, faculty

CHENNAI: With classes for tenth and plus two students in Tamil Nadu set to commence from tomorrow, the state health department has directed its officials to compulsorily screen students and faculty for Coronavirus within a week.

Also, the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine mandated cleaning of school premises by local body/school management besides the creation of sufficient hand washing facilities and following the SOPs without any deviation.

The officials should share the Information
Education and Communication materials with the school management, the DPH said.

The Deputy Directors of Health should use the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram teams to screen the tenth and twelfth standard students and faculty including checking for co-morbidities.

Primary health centre (PHC) teams could be mobilised if required, and they should be equipped to handle suspected symptomatic children as per SOPs.

Details on the Mobile Medical Units available at block level should be shared with schools to contact them in case of emergency.

Vitamin C, multivitamin tablets and other immuno- boosters should be given to children, the DPH said.
