IIM Indore concludes placement for EPGP students with average salary of Rs 24.10 lpa

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore concluded the placement process for the Class of 2020 of its Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) with an average salary of Rs 24.10 lakh per annum. The highest salary in the 2019-20 EPGP placement this season is Rs 80 lakh per annum, a jump of 153% from last year.

The EPGP is an intensive one-year full-time residential MBA program designed for executives with minimum 5 years of work experience. The EPGP Class of 2020 completed its international immersion module entitled “Advanced Leadership Program” during September-October, 2019 at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy.

The EPGP Class of 2020 comprised 43 candidates. Some of the recruiters include companies like FIIT-JEE, HSBC, Accenture – Technology, Virtusa, TCS, Cybertech, Vector Consulting, Infosys Domain Consulting, Atos Syntel, and Wolters Kluwers, according to a release issued by the IIM.

du admission news: DU Admission: 74% seats taken after 2nd cutoff; over 51k already admitted

NEW DELHI: Around 74% of the seats at Delhi University has been filled as the admissions under the second cutoff ended on Wednesday.

On the last day, 15,698 students completed the process by paying the fees. Earlier, around 35,500 students had taken admission. The count may rise further as 7,546 approved applicants are yet to pay their fees. The candidates have time till Friday to complete the process.

There are 70,000 seats in the university’s 61 colleges. The admission under the third cutoff list will begin on October 26. Many colleges say several courses will be closed in the third list. The admission convener of a college said, “A clearer picture on how many students have finally taken admission will emerge by Thursday. We will decide the third cutoff accordingly.”

At Ramjas College, 1,110 admissions have been completed. Rajdhani College has completed 171 admissions, the maximum number in BCom (H).

The university will release five cutoff lists. Following that, there will be an admission against special cutoffs. In case seats remain vacant even after that, Delhi University may release more cutoffs.

BHUBANESWAR: SAMS Odisha Plus 3 second merit list 2020 will be released today i.e. Thursday, October 22, 2020, on the official website of the SAMS Odisha – samsodisha.gov.in. As per the notification available on the official website of the admission portal, the SAMS Odisha Plus 3 second merit list 2020 will be released by 2.00 PM today. Students who have applied for Odisha Plus 3 admission are advised to visit the official website – smasodisha.gov.in – after 2 pm today to check and download the 2nd merit list.

All the students who are eligible to take admission based on the second selection list must deposit the admission fees on or before October 29 (5.00 pm). The common admission process for admissions to various 3-year degree colleges is being conducted online by SAMS Odisha. A total of 1,029 colleges are participating in this admission process and over 2.11 lakh students have paid the fees to participate in the admission process.

The SAMS Odisha Plus 3 first merit list and selection list was released on September 28, 2020. Students are advised to visit the official website of the SAMS Odisha to check further details related to Plus 3 admissions 2020.
