Pete Davidson Recalled The Moment He Found Out He Had BPD

“I was always just so confused all the time.”

For Pete Davidson, being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder was a relief. In fact, he told Glenn Close for Variety’s Actors on Actors series that the moment felt like a huge weight was “lifted off [his] shoulders.”

“I got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always just so confused all the time, and just thought something was wrong and didn’t know how to deal with it,” Davidson said.

“Then, when somebody finally tells you, the weight of the world feels lifted off your shoulders. You feel so much better,” he continued.

In 2017, Davidson revealed he had BPD after he spent years battling depression and anxiety.

Although he has previously revealed that he’s contemplated suicide, Davidson said that’s not an option because there are so many people who love him and want him to live.

Back in 2017, when he was diagnosed with BPD, Davidson talked about how therapy has been helping, while in conversation with Marc Maron. “It is working, slowly but surely,” he said, adding “I’ve been having a lot of problems. This whole year has been a fucking nightmare. This has been the worst year of my life, getting diagnosed with this and trying to figure out how to learn with this and live with this.”

Katherine Heigl On Alex And Izzie’s Reunion

If you watch Grey’s Anatomy, you know one thing is true about the long-running medical drama: Always expect the unexpected.

The latest season has been full of surprises — and so was the previous season of Grey’s, in which we found out that Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) left his wife, friends, and colleagues in Seattle to reconnect with former love Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl).

Of course, neither Izzy nor Alex actually appeared in the episode, since Chambers left Grey’s in the middle of the season and Heigl left the show in the middle of season six in 2010.

“I didn’t see it,” Heigl admitted, before asking about Alex’s relationship status pre-departure: “Wasn’t he with someone?”

Then she took it one step further: “Listen, isn’t that an asshole move?”

OK! So it sounds like she isn’t a fan of that plot line. Got it.

As for whether Heigl — who’s currently promoting her role in the Netflix show Firefly Lane — will return to Grey’s any time soon? Well: “I’m super focused on this show and my passion for it,” she said about Firefly Lane while addressing whether she’d ever throw the scrubs on again. “I would never say never but it’s not likely.”

Well…at least George is back, right? Right?
